About Us

Emerald Nursing School, LLC- 30 Plus Years Serving El Paso

About Us- Humble Beginnings

Emerald Nursing School was founded by Nancy Minter in June of 1994. Emerald Nursing School was established to provide nursing assistant training for the greater El Paso community. Mrs. Minter had a dream to help build her community by providing education opportunities to those who could not afford college. This was achieved through providing affordable & fast nursing assistant training. Through her love for community and desire to serve we developed very student focused mindset that lives on to this day.

Although Mrs. Minter has since passed and the school is under new ownership our mission & goals did not change. Therefore the atmosphere and love for our students remains unchanged. We are currently working to modernize our facilities and programs thus encouraging growth and allowing us to better aide our alumni. However we will never forget our success is in that of our graduates. As always our alumni are our greatest brand ambassadors!

Emerald Nursing School remains fully committed to providing El Paso with an affordable opportunity to gain entry into the rewarding career field of nursing. In doing so we continue enriching the lives of many.

We also recognize and accept our responsibility to meet the special needs of people in this multicultural international society.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a high quality education that meets or exceeds employer standards and medical workforce needs at an affordable cost.

We work closely with the community providing our students with a better understanding of what it really takes to aide the community and ones self.

Emerald Nursing School understands that the need for medical professionals has never been greater. As a result we do our best in providing our students with the appropriate learning and experience to fulfill these needs.

Our Family (Alumni)

Our students find themselves making new friends and connections that last many years as we maintain a strong family environment within our program. The bigger the heart the better the nurse. Kindness, a caring nature, selfless service and compassion are all musts in this field at all levels. These are traits that you can not always teach out-right and are often gained through exemplary leadership. In acting through kindness and always remaining selfless we strive to do our best in guiding our students.

Our Instructors

Possibly the greatest key to our continued success is being blessed with such amazing instructors. Our instructors truly take their time when teaching the course materials. Additionally they spend time assisting alumni or students with any questions they may have. We truly appreciate our highly dedicated and amazing instructors.
