Program Description

Program Type: Certificate of Completion

Course Length: 100 Hours

Description: The Nursing Assistant performs routine nursing procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, or a physician. These procedures include observation, reporting, and the environmental and physical management of patients. Students completing the program receive a certificate of completion and my find entry-level employment opportunities as a Nursing Assistant in hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies, and other skilled nursing facilities. Additionally, graduates are qualified to take the state certification examination for Nursing Assistant in the State of Texas.

Offered Program Schedules
Morning Class:

Monday thru Friday  (3 Weeks)

Classroom:  8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Clinicals:  6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Evenings:

Monday thru Friday  (4 Weeks)

Classroom:  5:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Clinicals:  5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
